The Community Information Centre Townsville Inc (CIC) is a not-for-profit community organisation funded primarily by Townsville City Council. The Centre was established in 1976 as a volunteer organisation to inform the community on available services, supports, and opportunities. Over the years this was done through the resource directories, which have continued to evolve. Meeting rooms are available for hire.
